Many of us remember the 80's as the Home Movie Era.
Where every home was being introduced to the VHS Video Recorder.
Before we knew it. Every home had to have this device.
Home Movies were created using the huge video cameras.
Well, this Technology came and went quite fast. And in swooped the DIGITAL AGE, as we know it today, leaving all our memories recorded on VHS, either LOST or unplayable.​

As technology progressed, we seen smaller Video Cameras hit the market.
This was the beginning of todays Smart Phones.
We took these cameras everywhere with us. Capturing our Holidays, Camping Trips and our Children's First Steps. I am sure Mum's & Dad's everywhere can attest to owning a video camera back in the late 80's and wandering around, at times annoying everyone in the household. ​
The 90's was a decade where everyone was looking for more portability with their recording devices. The Mini DV recorder was released onto the market and people everywhere just had to have them.(Much like the latest iphone of today.)
These new cameras could be basically carried in your pocket or handbag. Always ready to capture that unexpecting moment in our lives.
With all this new technology. One thing remain constant.
This was Analogue, which was not designed to pass the test of time.
Along with many other older Film Reels, Photo Slides & even old favourite Music Cassette Tapes.
