As Wedding Videographers for the past 21 years. We set about contacting our past couples over a 3 month period to get their responses. We have complied a list of responses from couples who have engaged our services & made many different responses after watching their video. The following are simply reasons why a Wedding Video can mean so much to a Young Couple.
"BRAD & THERESE" April 2001. Cowra, NSW
Brad says. "Watching my wife transformation on our wedding day from hair rollers & dressing gown, enjoying the excitement as it builds up to her putting on her wedding gown still brings a tear to my eyes. The effort my wife went to is just overwhelming. Watching our video after 15 years & seeing her turn into the princess she dreamed of being on her wedding day has made the investment in Wedding Videography priceless. Your prompting to have us make a comment has seen us dig out our wedding video your filmed all those years ago & we have watched it with our 3 children several times in the past 3 months. I was thinking if we didn't have a wedding video. I would never have been able to see these behind the scenes moments of my beautiful wife. Thank You so much for reminding me why I married her."
"KAITLYN & DAMIEN" September 2006, Wollongong, NSW
Kaitlyn says. "We make it a must in our household to watch our wedding video on our anniversary. It is a big day of celebration for us & our wedding video plays such a huge roll in those celebrations. With all our family in attendance we actually stand up together and mouth our vows to each other as the video is playing. 10 years is almost upon us since we married & having you contact us after all this time shows your commitment to your work. but more importantly it allowed us to sneak in another mid year viewing of our wedding video late one night once our lovely children had went to bed. We both watched it in private & I looked at Damien and he had tears rolling down his cheek. I think we are considering bringing you guys back to film our 10th anniversary."
"DANIEL & SARAH". October 2008, Toronto, NSW
Sarah says. "Wow. your email to us asking about what part our wedding video has played in our lives was uplifting. Out of the blue & unexpected. However we both decided that very night to sit down and watch our video again. LMAO at Daniel attempting to do his bow tie several times had me in fits of laughter. But recently we lost my father & to actually sit & listen to his voice during his speech was heart warming. Just being able to watch & hear Dad again made this video worth ten times the amount we paid. Thank you so much for your unexpected email. You have made my day."
"TRACY & PAUL". October 2005, Bathurst, NSW
Tracy says. "How did you find me? Your phone call was a shock to be honest. But timely. I have been widowed for the past 2 years because of a horrible car accident where I lost Paul, It still hurts but the Wedding video you created for us brings me solace. I must say I now have a ritual that on my husbands birthday, My birthday & our wedding anniversary I sit quietly alone in the dark & watch it. To see Paul so happy on our day brings a smile to my face. To see him fall over while trying to put his pants on is just a hillarious moment. It is the silly little things in our video that mean so much to me. Paul forgetting his socks...LOL. Paul calling me AWFUL instead of LAWFUL wife. These moments are treasured & I have them forever. I have moved house 3 times since that horrible day & the wedding video is always the first thing I remember I must pack. And the first thing I watch once all the unpacking has been done. It gives me a feeling that Paul is with me."
"LAUREN & CHRISTOPHER". December 2007, Nowra, NSW
Lauren says. "As you know I am a Dancer & perform in shows aboard Celebrity Cruises. And that my last cruise was to be in 2012 due to falling pregnant. And Christopher being the romantic joined me on a cruise for our 5th anniversary. Which was to be my last. Unbeknowns to me he secretly made plans with the entertainment director aboard the ship to play our wedding highlights after my last performance. There I was hard at work when suddenly the shows director instructs everyone off stage * Christopher walks on stage. We are both standing there in front of 600 people when suddenly the lights dim and the screen behind us lights up and their was our wedding highlights playing. I immediately burst into tears as hundreds of people watched in silence. At the end of the video the crown applauded & Christopher announced we were to become parents & this was my last cruise show. Before this day we had probably only watched our wedding video 3 or 4 times. But now this video has 2 special moments in my life and we watch it quite often. Thank you for contacting me & asking to participate in this project. We now have a beautiful little girl aged 3 years who also watches our wedding video and wants to dress up like Princess Mummy.
Well folks. This is just a few of the responses we have received & we will be continuing this Blog topic over the next few months with other stories from past couples. But one thing you can take from this project of ours is that a Wedding Video can be quite a powerful part of your life. Be sure that Wedding Videography is a priority when planning your wedding.
Until next time. Cheers
